All equipment worked as advertised which was a direct reflection on operator and support personnel’s attention to detail.
Equipment used and type chutes are as follows:
RAMB w/ 2x T-10s (package weight 1100lbs) Bundles x2 w/T-10 on each (bundle weight 110lbs each) SOV 3 Static Line Square
For those in A5 I wanted to elaborate a little more on the equipment side. As the Wing Boat and Raider engine are new to our inventory, the 308th has taken additional steps to ensure pre & post checks are conducted methodically. Engines are set up on a trickle charge to ensure battery is charged and electric start works properly (The engine started up first push during mission). Engines are always rinsed and dried off with pressurized air as well as sprayed with anti-corrosion lube. Wing boats are stored inflated with valves methodically checked and sprayed with anti-corrosion lube. Operators are directed to assist in packing all RAMB bundles in order to maintain proficiency with Riggers over sight.
